How do I enter the contest?
Who can enter?
The National Chicken Teriyaki Day Giveaway is only open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years of age as of the date of entry. Void in Rhode Island and where prohibited. Owners, officers, directors, and employees of Sarku Japan are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Are all Sarku Japan stores participating in the contest?
No, the National Chicken Teriyaki Day giveaway is available for participating stores that are listed on the Sarku Japan Rewards app.
Can in-store purchases count or is it online/app only?
In-store and third-party delivery purchases do not count. Purchases must be made through online order or using the Sarku Japan Rewards App.
How will winners be selected?
All eligible entries will be included in the selection pool, and the winners will be chosen at random.
What is the prize?
Each winner will receive one free Chicken Teriyaki Entrée each week for all of 2026. The Chicken Teriyaki entrée will be automatically loaded into the winner’s Sarku Japan Rewards app account each Monday morning and expire if not used by Sunday night of that week. It will not be carried over to the following week.
How will the winners be notified?
Winners will be notified on or before Wednesday, December 31st, 2025, by the email account associated with the Sarku Japan Rewards account or the online entry, whichever is applicable.
Can I submit more than one entry?
Yes, each order of Chicken Teriyaki Entrée, Chicken & Shrimp Teriyaki Entrée and Chicken Teriyaki Bowl counts as one entry. You can purchase multiple of these items on one order and have it count as multiple entries.
What happens if I win and do not claim my prize in time?
If you fail to claim the prize within 3 days from the date that notification was sent, the Prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected at random from the remaining eligible Entries until that Prize has been awarded.
